SUBJECT: Reporting On HCAP, Network Benefits and Healthy Babies
DATE: March 25, 2002

We will soon mail the January 2002 versions of Reporting On HCAP and Reporting On Network Benefits and the March 2002 version of Reporting On Healthy Babies to your agency. Reporting On HCAP replaces the April 2001 version and explains the Empire Plan Home Care Advocacy Program for home care services and durable medical equipment/supplies. Reporting On Network Benefits replaces the March 1999 version and details Empire Plan network coverage. Reporting On Healthy Babies replaces the March 1994 version and offers information for mothers and their babies.

Distribution of Reporting On Publications

You will receive a supply of each publication equal to 5 percent of your enrollment for distribution to interested enrollees. We are not mailing these publications directly to enrollees. You may order additional copies as you need them.

Publications Available on EBD Web Site

Reporting On HCAP, Reporting On Network Benefits and Reporting On Healthy Babies are available on this Web site in the Publications and Order Forms section. These publications will also be available on the Department of Civil Service Web site at http://www.cs.state.ny.us. Click on Employee Benefits to go to NYS OnLine, then click on Recent Publications.

You may order additional copies of these publications by using the Publications Supply Order Form that was attached to this memo and enclosed with your shipment. Or, instead of faxing the form, you may order on PA-MARKET. From the homepage, open Publications and Forms, then open NYSHIP Publication Order Forms. Choose the appropriate group, then "Order Online" or "Print or View Form" and follow instructions. If you need help accessing PA-MARKET, please call the Help Desk or your processor. All of the most recent publications are listed on the Publications Supply Order Form enclosed with your shipment. Obsolete publications are not listed and are unavailable. Please dispose of (recycle) outdated publications you may have in stock.
