Travel/Animals
The Travel/Animals page within Incident Data provides a description of the travel details and animal details involved, if any, with the incident.
To input Travel Details, begin by entering the Start Date and Start Time of the travel.
Next, enter the Arrival Date and Arrival Time.
Enter the Destination of the travel.
To input the details of the route taken by the employee, click on Route Details.
Enter the Actual Route taken during the travel. If any, enter the Direct Route and the Usual Route.
If the Actual Route was the direct route taken, check Direct Route Taken. If the Actual Route was the usual route taken, check Usual Route Taken.
If the Actual Route was different that the Usual Route, enter the Reason For Unusual Route.
Enter, if any, additional Route Details. Then, input the Route Length in kilometers. Once the Route Details page is complete, click OK.
Select the Mode of Transport by clicking the magnifying glass.
Click on the Description that best describes the mode of transport used during the travel.
If a break was taken during the travel, check Break Taken In Journey. Enter the details of the break by clicking Break Details.
Enter, in hours, how long the break took place in the Break Duration box. Next, enter the Reason For Break. Then, select whether the incident took place Before, During, or After the break. Once the Break Details page is complete, press OK.
If any animals were involved in the incident, check Animals Involved. Enter the details of the animal involved by clicking Animal Details.
To choose the animal, click on the magnifying glass.
Click on the Description of the animal that was involved in the incident.
Enter a comment of how the animal is related to the incident. When complete, click OK.
Any additional comments regarding travel or animals involved in the incident can be added in the Comment field.
Once the Travel/Animals page is updated, click Save.
