Navigating ARS
The ARS system has many available components to access. However, not all components are accessible to every user depending upon the user's specific permissions. The following is a chart which describes each component in ARS. Click on the component's name in order to view further details.
ARS Component Chart (Table of Contents)
Component Name | Component Description |
The Call Center component is used to enter the initial workers' compensation incident or update an existing incident in the ARS database. | |
Injury/Illness | The Injury/Illness component allows users to view personnel information, complete PESH reporting, and complete the First Report of Injury (FROI, formerly the C-2 form). |
Claims Management | The Claims Management component provides users access to an incident's SIF determinations (C-6, C-9, C-7, or C-8EMP). Also, users can complete the C-11 form. |
Incident Data | The Incident Data component allows updating/correction of previously entered incident information. Also, Health and Safety Administrators may document actions taken to correct and prevent hazardous conditions. |
Personal Information | The Personal Information component is used to access employee's personal data, emergency contacts, and non-employee data. |
ARS Reports | The ARS Reports component is used to access and print FROI (C-2), PESH Reports, Claims Reports, Rule 5.9 Letters, Broadcast System Messages, Incident Reports, and Location Reports. |
Receive ARS Broadcast System | The Receive ARS Broadcast System component is used to view Broadcast System Messages which notifies users of new, or changes to, procedures within ARS. |
